Nemoto Kahoko is the world’s most sheltered daughter. She was miraculously raised in a sterile environment, protected by her parents from everything. Going into the job-hunting period at 21, she has never done any part time work, chosen her clothes for herself, or even walked to the train station. This girl, with so many ‘never’s, finally goes from her antibacterial greenhouse into the germ infested world. Then she is told by a young man at university, “it’s because of overprotected people like you that Japan is going down the drain.” Kahoko starts to search for herself, and through the firsts that she experiences, the true power dormant within her solves her family’s problems.
